GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

Version dated 16 October 2025

PREAMBLE

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use (“Terms”) set out the contractual terms offered by JACK & LINE PARIS on its website jacketlineparis.fr, and govern the sale of ready-to-wear clothing and fashion accessories between JACK & LINE PARIS and the Customer, from order placement and payment to delivery.

JACK & LINE PARIS is a company registered under SIRET No. 99400607000019, with its registered office located at 23 rue Saint-Maurice, 92000 Nanterre, France, and may be contacted by email at contact@jacketline.fr.

By purchasing a product through the website jacketlineparis.fr, the buyer fully and unreservedly accepts these Terms.

These Terms shall prevail over any other general or specific terms not expressly approved by JACK & LINE PARIS.
JACK & LINE PARIS reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time; the applicable version shall be that in effect on the date the order is placed.

This website and all related intellectual property rights are the exclusive property of JACK & LINE PARIS.
Any reproduction, full or partial, including use of the JACK & LINE PARIS trademark, is strictly subject to prior written authorization from the owner.

ARTICLE 1 – PRODUCTS

The products offered by JACK & LINE PARIS consist of ready-to-wear clothing and fashion accessories.

All products are offered for sale subject to availability. Only items displayed on the online store at the time of consultation are available for purchase.

Each product is accompanied by a detailed description and non-contractual photographs. While every effort is made to ensure accuracy, photographs may not perfectly represent the actual product, particularly with respect to colour, which may vary depending on individual display settings.

If a product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, the buyer will be informed by email and invited to modify or cancel the order. No compensation or damages may be claimed. JACK & LINE PARIS will refund any payment made for the cancelled order.

ARTICLE 2 – ORDERS

The buyer must have legal capacity or parental authorization to place an order on the JACK & LINE PARIS website.

A sale becomes effective only upon JACK & LINE PARIS’s confirmation email (including an order number), provided that the email address entered by the buyer is valid.
The buyer is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all personal information provided. JACK & LINE PARIS shall not be held liable for any input errors or resulting consequences, such as delays or delivery errors. Any costs incurred for reshipment will be borne by the buyer.

Acceptance of these Terms is required to validate any order.
In the event of an error in the shipping address, the buyer must contact contact@jacketline.fr immediately.

ARTICLE 3 – PRICES AND SECURE PAYMENT

Prices

All prices displayed on jacketlineparis.fr are in euros (€) and include all applicable taxes (VAT).
Shipping costs are not included and will be shown separately before final confirmation of the order.

JACK & LINE PARIS reserves the right to modify prices at any time. However, the products will be invoiced at the rate in effect when the order was placed.

Secure Payment

JACK & LINE PARIS implements appropriate technical measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of online payments.
All data is encrypted using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology, ensuring that information cannot be intercepted, detected, or used by third parties, nor stored on JACK & LINE PARIS’s systems.

Payment methods accepted include:

  • Credit/Debit Card:
Payments are processed via the secure STRIPE payment platform. No banking information passes through our servers. The order will be confirmed once payment authorization is received from the issuing bank.

  • PayPal:
PayPal encrypts and protects your payment information. Your financial details are never shared with our website. Payment can be made simply by entering your email address and password.

An order will only be considered effective and goods dispatched once the payment has been approved by the relevant financial institutions.
If payment is declined, the order will be automatically cancelled, and the buyer notified by email.
A detailed invoice will be available in the “My Account” section of the website.

ARTICLE 4 – RECORDS AND ARCHIVING

JACK & LINE PARIS archives all orders on a reliable and durable medium constituting a faithful copy in accordance with Article 1348 of the French Civil Code.
The computerized records maintained by JACK & LINE PARIS shall serve as proof of communications, orders, payments, and transactions between JACK & LINE PARIS and the buyer.

ARTICLE 5 – DELIVERY, TIMEFRAMES AND RATES

Delivery

Deliveries are handled by independent service providers. All parcels are traceable with a tracking number and may optionally be delivered in person against signature.

In mainland France, deliveries are carried out by La Poste and Colissimo.
Within the European Union, deliveries are handled by La Poste and Colissimo Suivi Europe.
Deliveries outside the EU are handled by international postal services.

For deliveries outside mainland France, the buyer agrees to pay all import taxes, customs duties, VAT, and any other taxes applicable under the laws of the destination country.

Transport risks are borne by the buyer. JACK & LINE PARIS cannot be held liable for delays, losses, damages, or any other issues occurring during delivery. Once the parcel has been deposited and registered with the postal service, JACK & LINE PARIS’s responsibility ceases. For this reason, insured delivery (with signature) is strongly recommended.

Upon receipt, the buyer must check the condition of the goods before accepting delivery. In case of damage, the buyer must record any reservations on the delivery slip and confirm them to the carrier by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt within three (3) days of delivery, in accordance with Article L.133-3 of the French Commercial Code.
The buyer must also notify JACK & LINE PARIS by registered letter within eight (8) days of receipt. Failure to comply with these procedures will render any claim inadmissible.

If a tracked parcel has not been received within five (5) days and no delivery notice has been left, the buyer should check the parcel status on La Poste’s website.

Products are delivered with an invoice to the address specified by the buyer. In case of delivery error due to incorrect address information, return and/or reshipment costs will be borne by the buyer.
If no recipient is present, a delivery notice will be left, and the buyer may collect the parcel from their local post office with proof of identification.

JACK & LINE PARIS shall be released from its delivery obligations in the following cases:

  • Buyer’s failure to perform any contractual obligation (e.g., payment or inaccurate information);

  • Force majeure events such as war, riot, fire, strikes, accidents, or supply shortages.

Delivery Times

Delivery times are provided for information purposes only. They correspond to average processing, preparation, and shipping times. While every effort is made to ensure timely dispatch, these times are non-binding.
International delivery times may vary. Delivery periods commence only once payment has been received.

Orders are prepared Monday through Friday in the Paris region.
Certain made-to-order products require an estimated 5 to 10 business days from payment before shipment. Business days exclude weekends and public holidays.

Reasonable delivery delays for made-to-order items shall not entitle the buyer to damages or cancellation.

The buyer may track the shipment via La Poste’s website.
In case of delay, the buyer must contact contact@jacketline.fr. JACK & LINE PARIS will then initiate an investigation with La Poste (maximum duration: 21 days). If the product is found, it will be reshipped immediately. If not, La Poste will declare the parcel lost.

Failure by the buyer to raise a claim within 30 days of ordering shall constitute acceptance: the product will be deemed delivered and received. No claims will be accepted after this period. All claims must be made via the contact form.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are borne by the customer and include packaging, handling, and postal fees.
They are calculated on a flat-rate basis depending on the destination country and parcel weight.

If the buyer wishes to insure their parcel against loss or theft, they may select the Colissimo with insurance option, which includes delivery against signature.
